To mark the upcoming Valentine's Day, SurreyLive asked our readers why they love our wonderful county.
I drive by the sterile. A lovely welcome is guaranteed by the owners at Pasha, Max and Jackie, and the atmosphere is one of genuine warmth and hospitality. I tend to have the same breakfast every time, and I love the fact that it is a little different from the norm. A lot of dishes reflect their Turkish origins. It seems to be getting busier and busier, which their efforts and hard work here fully deserve.
We had a meal in Pashas today it was so lovely. I had Ottoman curry and my partner had chicken kebab. I was able to feed my Turkish coffee addiction and have such great chats with Max who told me very interesting facts about tulips as the national symbol.
He also recommended a book to read before we go to Turkey next year. I cant recommend this place enough! We will be back again soon.
Just a lovely time thank you. We just love Pasha in Chobham. Always the warmest welcome from Jackie and Max the lovely owners. The food is delicious whether it's breakfast or lunch.

We love the coffee as well. Now that we are back having to follow the "work from home if you can" rule Mrs Palinscase and I have decided to break the week up with at least one lunch out.
An escape from the daily dance that is: "What do you fancy for lunch? Don't know. What do you fancy? What have we got in?
Not sandwiches and crisps again. Confession time. We must have driven past this hundreds of times in the years we have lived here but had never been in until just after the first round of house arrest, sorry lockdown, was eased. It offers a full range of meals, all with a Turkish twist, from breakfast through lunch to full meals and an amply stocked bar. We both opted for the chicken Shawarma which came with a small, but well done salad and dressing. The bread was warm and tasty and packed with filling and I don't just mean salad but lots of chicken.
To round it off we were given some complementary Turkish Delight with pistachio. Pasha is certainly a Turkish delight. I regularly visit Pasha and always receive a warm and friendly welcome.
