Description
An Atlanta woman has sued a former Savannah lawyer for damages stemming from what the woman alleges was a requested sex act in exchange for making traffic tickets disappear.
The suit, filed by Savannah attorneys Scott Robichaux and David Utter, asked for a jury trial and is seeking damages for invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and punitive damages. Included in the damages sought were for Pearson violating his oath by a public officer followed by offering her sex in exchange for favorable treatment in her traffic citations.
The suit alleges that Selver was cited for speeding and no insurance while traveling through Springfield on Jan. When she appeared in court on Feb. Before Selver left for Atlanta, Pearson allegedly gave her his business card with his cellphone written on the back, then began sending her messages via Facebook, the suit says.
Pearson was indicted by the Chatham County grand jury for violation of oath by a public officer in a case presented by an attorney with the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia. Facebook Twitter .
